Training and Workshops

Librarians, student teachers, therapists, childcare students, museums staff, charity volunteers, adventure guides, storytellers, the general public…

I deliver all kinds of training in all kinds of arenas. Building confidence is key! I am a playful trainer, and like to create a safe, supportive environment where we laugh and learn together.

For COMMUNITY GROUPS, I specialise in teaching the art of true life/personal storytelling. I also use stories in resilience work for women’s groups. Sharing personal stories is empowering: a quiet but transformational celebration of self.

My Mee Club in Coventry, funded by the Arts Council England, featured outreach workshop with community groups:

LIBRARIES: I have done many workshops with librarians and childcare students teaching how to add colour to storytimes, with toys, music, rhymes etc

MUSEUMS, VISITOR CENTRES…: I can help anyone who has to work with the public, whether it is general presentation work or specifically using stories to engage listeners. Clients include the RSPB and Worcester Museums, and Library Services nationwide.
