NEW! One-to-One Zoom Consultations & Coaching

After 25+ years in the story business, I have a LOT of experience! One-to-One Zooms give you the chance to pick my brains. You can ask for thoughts, advice or guidance on anything that’s troubling you.

Are you stuck with your writing and don’t know how to unblock yourself?

Would you like to write a novel but are finding it hard to start?

Would you like to be a storyteller but don’t know how to go about it?

Are you lacking confidence in yourself and your writing?

Something else?

I charge by the hour and can usually fit in with your daily schedule. Contact me via the Contact Cat tab. It costs nothing to ask!

Bespoke Workshops for Adults

Librarians, student teachers, therapists, childcare students, museums staff, charity volunteers, adventure guides, storytellers, the general public… I deliver all kinds of training in all kinds of arenas. Building confidence is key! I am a playful trainer, and like to create a safe, supportive environment where we laugh and learn together.

For COMMUNITY GROUPS, I specialise in teaching the art of true life/personal storytelling. I also use stories in resilience work for women’s groups. Sharing personal stories is empowering: a quiet but transformational celebration of self.

My Mee Club in Coventry, funded by the Arts Council England, featured outreach workshop with community groups:

LIBRARIES: I have done many workshops with librarians and childcare students teaching how to add colour to storytimes, with toys, music, rhymes etc

MUSEUMS, VISITOR CENTRES…: I can help anyone who has to work with the public. I often train volunteer guides: building confidence, exploring how to connect with visitors and teaching how they can hold people’s attention more effectively when presenting.  Clients include the RSPB, the National Trust and Worcester Museums.
