I had a fantastic time speaking at the Time To Talk early years conference in Kenilworth last week. The theme was ‘The Power of Stories,” so I had plenty to say! A hundred teachers, speech and language therapists and SEND specialists were in attendance from across Warwickshire. I talked about how to use puppets, shared a paper cutting story and talked about the workshops I do with Own Books. Micheal Rosen gave a fascinating keynote speech, in which he analysed Maurice Sendak’s ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’
Throw in book selling and networking and it was an exhausting day, but totally brilliant.
